Kappa Delta @ F&M
Eta Lambda hosted our spring formal, Bollywood themed! Our formal chair put together a beautiful set up straight out of a Bollywood movie!
The Eta Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority directed its cause of the month towards ending the 7 Neglected Tropical Diseases. With information provided by Global Network, the Kappa Delta ladies taught Franklin & Marshall College students about the diseases and raised over $90 for the institute.
Way to go KD!
Picture One: Bree Lotter and Alexis Teevens spread the word about the 7 neglected tropical diseases in the F&M College Center.
Picture Two: Lauren Silverman and Nellie Garlow collect $0.50 in small cups shaped like people to demonstrate that it only takes $0.50 to protect one person from all 7 diseases for an entire year! The Kappa Delta girls also showed a video produced by Global Network.
Eta Lambda’s BIG REVEAL!!! Just a small portion of the Kappa Delta families here at F&M. More to come!

Eta Lambda works with Kappa Delta’s national philanthropy Girl Scouts of America! We had an excellent time teaching the girls about what it really means to go to college and belong to a sorority.
Eta Lambda’s Cause of the Month: This month we raised awareness about 7 neglected tropical disease that are 100% preventable — and those that donated help prevent them with only 50 cents!! The seven diseases include: Ascariasis (roundworm), Trichuriasis (whipworm), Hookworm, Schistosomiasis (snail fever), Lymphatic Filariasis (elephantiasis), Trachoma, and Onchocerciasis (river blindness).
